The camera rides the hero's head. Abilities are aimed, not clicked. Every telegraph you have ever read from above is a thing you now read from the ground.
Vision is settled by height bands rather than by a line traced between two players. Stand above someone and you see them; stand in the pit and the plateau above you is dark.
The design roster is eighteen art-backed heroes. Ten of them ship at launch, which is the floor a five-against-five game needs.
Field of Valour is a first-person MOBA. Five against five, three lanes, the full depth of the genre played from inside a hero's eyes rather than from above.

Last-hitting and denying are aimed down a sightline rather than clicked on a unit. Buyback, an item tree with actives, day and night — all of it survives the move to first person rather than being cut to make room for it.
Vision is decided by the height band you stand in against the band of whatever is between you. Take the high ground and you see the low ground; stand in the pit and the plateau is dark.
